November 26th, 2024 - Important PetSmart Union Update:
It’s not just our coworkers in Midland, Texas who are joining the PetSmart Union… We’re thrilled to announce that our fellow associates in Fairfield, California, also just filed for their union election!! After they vote Union Yes, they’ll join our movement as the THIRD unionized PetSmart store.
This is another milestone victory for our campaign, and we can’t wait to sit down with our coworkers in Fairfield to talk about our goals for a better company. Together, we’re showing PetSmart how committed we are to fostering progress and making the company a better place for workers and pets alike.
November 21st, 2024 - PetSmart Union News Update from Midland, Texas:
Yesterday, PetSmart workers in Midland, Texas officially filed for their union election! They’ll be voting Union Yes on January 3rd, 2025, and once they WIN their election, they’ll join our movement as the SECOND unionized PetSmart store.
With this store filing, we’re showing PetSmart how much power we can build at stores across the country. We know other PetSmart staff will see our progress and be inspired to take action this Holiday season - stay tuned to see what we’re up to next!
October 4th, 2024 -BREAKING NEWS UPDATE from PetSmart Workers in Mishawaka, Indiana:
Today at PetSmart Store 0507 in Mishawaka, Indiana, our group of associates, groomers, and trainers voted UNION YES with a resounding win of 21 to 2! We’ve been hard at work organizing across the country and this is our first union election victory in the United States - making it a milestone moment in PetSmart’s history.
With this victory, we’ve shown the company that we’re serious about coming together and unionizing for real change in our stores. Now, we’re focused on putting our collective voice into action and building strength throughout the country! We can’t wait to see which PetSmart store joins us next in our fight to make PetSmart the company we know it can be.
